GCM Services, Inc., is a Montana Corporation organized to provide consulting services in archaeological and historical research and cultural resource management. GCM conducts historical baseline research including cultural resources inventories and assessments, preparation of mitigation plans, data recovery work, excavations, historical research, cultural resources sections of EIS and EA documents, National Register of Historic Places nominations, and detailed architectural photographic mitigation to HABS/HAER standards.
Clients include private firms, state and federal agencies. GCM was formed in 1982 by archaeologists and historians from the Montana Tech- affiliated Mineral Research Center.
GCM has conducted archaeological and historical investigations in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, North Dakota and South Dakota. GCM maintains necessary Federal and State permits to operate in these areas.
